Dr B.N.Devendra
Assistant Regional Director
Dr.B.N.Devendra presently posted as a Assistant Regional Director IGNOU Regional Centre Bijapur from 2013 till date, earlier he worked in IGNOU Kolkata Regional Centre for one year.
Before joining in IGNOU, he served as an Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam for 3 ½ years. He worked as a Head of the Department, Department of Biotechnology, Navodaya College of Biosciences, Raichur, Karnataka for 2 years.
He did Post Doctoral Fellowship at Institut national de la recherche agronomique (INRA) Versailles with the collaboration of Institut Pasteur, Paris, France for 2 years (2006-2008)
He completed his Ph.D in 2005 from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga, Karnataka in the area of Plant Biotechnology. He Published 15 research articles in reputed International Journals. He presented few papers in National and International conferences, and also he contributed for 05 Text books (Self learning material for Distance learning for M.Sc.Biotechnology).
